Emma Paige Hoey is a studio artist from Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor's degree in Studio Art in 2020 from Merrimack College and has supplemented her portfolio with classes at MassArt and University of Vermont, as a Post Baccalaureate at Brandeis University, volunteer teaching across northeast Massachusetts, gallery management, archival work, and custom commissions.
Her focus is large scale works, including charcoal figurative work, and small scale acrylic paintings. Her artwork centers around topics of self-image, existentialism, sexuality, and human interaction with the self. Emma's influences come from astrophysics, mental health, socioeconomic trends and mindful meditation practices. She does all things with creativity. Her ever-growing portfolio is an attempt to challenge desired perceptions of ourselves in relation to our environment - though her work she hopes that you are able to look inward and outward, deeper still. |
